DSP to compose music for Sukumar-Mahesh movie !

It’s official now ! Devi Sri Prasad will team up again with Sukumar. The project has not yet been titled and will have none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead.The opening puja of the movie has been held today.The female lead of the movie is yet to be confirmed.

This is the first time DSP will be working for Mahesh’s film. The expectations on the music are usually on the higher side for any Sukumar-DSP projects  but bring in Superstar Mahesh and the expectations have increased much more !

Fans are eagerly waiting for this project as it involves one of the craziest combinations ever !

Gemini bags 100% Love Hindi remake rights

Gemini Film Circuit has reportedly bagged the Hindi remake rights of the Naga Chaitanya-Tamannaah super hit 100 % Love, directed by Sukumar, produced by Bunny Vasu and music by Devi Sri Prasad under the banner of Geetha Arts.
It is heard that the production house acquired the remake rights for Rs. 95 lakhs. The details about the Hindi version are awaited and the official announcement about the cast and crew is expected to take place soon.
100% Love recently completed 50 days run in 65 screens. One of the biggest hits in 2011 so far, the film was released on April 22. Made with a medium budget of Rs. 11 crores, 100% Love collected about Rs. 11.26 crores in the first week itself.

‘100% Love’ completes 50 days

Naga Chaitanya and Tamannah starrer ‘100% Love’ completed its 50 days in 65 theatres across the state. This youthful love entertainer evoked good response at the box office and has been declared a hit.

Devi Sri Prasad‘s music was one of the biggest contributors to the movie’s success. Sukumar became a star director after the success of this film.

Now there are even rumours that he will be remaking this movie in Hindi with Ranbir Kapoor as the hero.

Geetha Arts and Bunny Vasu produced this film. This film was commercially a successful venture.
