The audio launch of ‘Alex Pandian‘ has been confirmed for Superstar Rajinikanth‘s birthday, falling on the 12th of December. It happens to fall on the special date, 12-12-12, which is being considered as something significant by many. The music of the film has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who has come up with peppy numbers for films like ‘Singam’ and ‘Villu’ in the past.
The name of the film, ‘Alex Pandian’, is close to Rajinikanth as it was the name of the character in Moondru Mugam. His role won him the Tamil Nadu Government Award for Best Actor in 1982. Now, 20 years later, Alex Pandian features Karthi and Anushka in the lead.
Following the success of ‘Siruthai’, the film is expected to be a mass entertainer. It also includes Santhanam whose comedy in ‘Siruthai’ with Karthi went on to become a rage among fans.
