Dhamarukam gets release date

Nagarjuna’s big budget socio-fantasy, Dhamarukam will arrive this summer 2012. RR Movie Makers are planning, an April 6 ‘Good Friday’ release for the film. The movie has already completed its shooting part and post-production will take another month or so due to Graphics & VFX.

If this is the case and everything goes as planned, we can expect the audio to be out by the end of march ! Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for the movie and expectations are riding high as it is a socio-fantasy movie and music is considered to be the back bone for such movies.

Nag’s Dhamarukam in year end release.

Nagarjuna’s upcoming socio-fantasy, Dhamarukam is currently being shot in Rama Naidu studios in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.
The shooting began yesterday. Ganesh Venkatraman has joined the cast for this schedule. He was last seen in films like Aakasamantha and Eenadu. The film was recently shot for few days in Switzerland.
Anushka is playing the lead role opposite Nagarjuna. Srinivas Reddy is directing the film and Venkat is producing the film on R R Movie Makers banner. Devi Sri Prasad is going to compose the music and Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer. Sources say that the film has extensive graphics and it might very well be the most expensive film in Nagarjuna’s career so far. The audio release and film is expected to hit the screens later this year.

Nagarjuna’s Dhamarukam Updates

The shooting of King Nagarjuna’s  movie Dhamarukam has recently started under the banner of R R Movie Makers and the news is that the latest schedule is going to start from 6th of June at BHEL bramaramba temple for 3 days.

The movie will be shot at various places starting from Nanak Ram Guda Rama Naidu Studios where in a special house set is supposed to have already been erected and then in Saradhi studios with another set of a colony being erected. The next schedule of  the shooting will be done in many important sacred places.

The movie is based on Socio Fantasy background and has around 50 minutes of Graphics in it. Dhamarukam is directed by Srinivas Reddy and it is supposed to be the highest budget film in the career of Nagarjuna.Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad who seemed to have taken this as a challenge as giving background score for such movies is no cake walk .The movie has already created so many expectations among the fans.
