Highlights of Damarukam audio launch

Devi Sri Prasad joins the 50 movie club with the audio launch of Damarukam. The audio was launched on 10th,September at Silpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. “Thank u so much to u all 4 makin my 50th film audio launch a GRAND success.!! Can never forget this event.! Thx for all the lovely msgs!!:)”,Devi tweets. There were many moments in the audio launch which were not to be missed, the most important being Devi Sri Prasad with his mother on stage. It was a very emotional moment and infact it was the highlight of the entire audio launch !

Devi Sri Prasad scores 50 !

With the audio release of Damarukam, Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP has successfully completed his 50 movies in the Telugu Film Industry. Through out this journey of his, he composed music for many leading actors including Chiranjeevi,Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. Right from his 1st movie ‘Devi‘ to his 50th movie ‘Damarukam’, he composed music for almost all kinds of films of different genre.

He got success after success, and eventually made his way to the top of  Telugu music industry.He also made several movies in other languages down south and tasted success there too.The one standout thing that keeps DSP apart from other music directors is the success rate that he has achieved.His success rate is by far the best and is unparalleled.Even after all the success and awards,he still keeps his feet firm to ground and never lets the fame get to his head.

On the occasion of his 50th movie, Devi says he is thankful to all the people who helped him in getting into the film industry and in his journey to success. He also thanks his fans for all the love and support that they have shown him all along. In-fact he wants to share this special occasion with his fans ! Devi Sri Prasad is planning to give away 50 audio Cds of Damarukam to his fans on the occasion of his 50th film !

Devi Sri Prasad to compose music for Nagarjuna’s next

It seems Dasaradh of Santhosam and Mr.Perfect fame had approached Nagarjuna with an interesting script and Nagarjuna immediately gave the green signal. Nagarjuna impressed by Devi Sri Prasad‘s music for the movie Dhamarukam made no delay in recommending DSP for this movie as well. D Shiva Prasad Reddy will produce the film under Kamakshi Movies banner.The director has roped in Nayantara as the lead actress in the movie.Nayanatara became one of the most sought after actress in Tollywood post the success of  her recent film Sri Ramarajyam.But the news of her not doing films anymore has been worrying the producers as she had previously announced that she would not further do any films as she is prepared for marriage in near future with her boyfriend Prabhu Deva.

But after much persuasions by the director and the producer it seems Nayanatara has finally agreed upon doing the film opposite Nagarajuna in this new flick.Nayanatara has good rapport with Nagarjuna and this may be one of the reasons for her to accept the project. Also Prabhu Deva is a good friend of Dasaradh since 2002 as they have worked together for the movie Santosham which also had Nagarjuna in the main lead.

The film will go on sets from the month of  May this year. The film is touted to be a romantic entertainer and the director has come out with an interesting script for such a common story line.
